I met this couple in Ballard to capture some beautiful engagement pictures and it made me realize how much more I need to visit Ballard. Can you believe this was the first time I really walked out on the Locks? That is just crazy! We had a great time walking around downtown Ballard with all of it’s fun and funky architecture and sculptures, then we made our way over to the Locks to get some greenery and watery. There are some very fun wave sculptures on the far side of the Locks that M was brave enough to walk all the way to in her amazing red heels (definitely experiencing some shoe envy here!). Since most of M’s family lives out of the country, it was very important to capture these pictures before she went to visit them for two weeks so she could show her family what her fiance even looked like!
I always enjoy doing engagement sessions before the wedding – it’s a great way to get to know the couple a little better before their big day. It was so much fun to get to know M & J before their August wedding – I know it’s going to be a spectatular day! Hope you enjoy!
