Pet Portrait Session Sneak Peaks

This past weekend, I had the first set of many pet portrait sessions to help raise money for PAWS. I am waiving my normal session fee and asking for a donation to go towards PAWS. With 15 sessions this past Saturday and Sunday and at least that many more in the next two weeks, I am excited to see how much money we will raise. I will keep you posted on the final number! With most of the pets coming from Ahimsa Dog Training in Ballard, it was great to have so many well-behaved and well-trained pets in one weekend. It proves to me (well, I already knew it) that training your pet early on is soooo very important and really helps me in making the session run smoother.

Mother’s & Father’s Day Special!

I know Mother’s Day is just around the corner (which I am generally prepared for - already done for this year, thank goodness!), but Father’s Day always sneaks up on me! I don’t know if it’s the excitement of summer or the busy-ness that brings to the studio or the close proximity to Mother’s Day, but I always find myself in a last minute scramble to get a card and present sent off to my dad.

With that in mind, I am telling you NOW that it is a great time to bring your kids into the studio and surprise Dad with some beautiful prints for Father’s Day. Let’s face it, this is a great present for Mom, but Dad’s are not always on top of things to get this done on time (sorry Dads, I know you try hard, but I have had more than one last-minute call three days before Mother’s Day to see if I could squeeze a session in and maybe some prints too??).

This Father’s Day, Moms can treat themselves too! When you spend a minimum of $300 in prints, you can get a FREE mini album! These are a new addition to the studio and are so very cute! They come in either black or red and include your favorite 20 session images, each sized at 2×3 inches. It’s a great little purse album so you can always have great pictures of your kids with you. Treat Dad to some great wall portraits and keep the mini album for yourself!
